Things required

• 3-4 sets of imitation jewellery consisting of ear rings, neckless, mangtikka and 12 glass bangles

How To Play

• Players can play this game according to the number of  sets at a time.
• The game is that they have to take off the jewellery which they are wearing and have to wear this.

Winner

The player who is able to do this in the shortest possible time is the winner.

Things Required

• Cartridge sheets of Red & Green color (You can use cardboard sheets or any thick paper)
• Rocking music

How To Play

• Make round or square cut outs of cartridge sheets as per the number of players large enough so that a player can stand on it.
• Now keep these cut outs forming a big circle as shown in the image above.
• Ask all the players to stand on the cut outs i.e. one player on each cut out.
• As the music starts, players have to start moving and keep stepping on to the next cut outs until music stops.
• When the music stops all the players who are standing on red cut outs will be considered out.
• Game continues till we have one person left in the end who will be declared as winner.

Things Required

• Mehandi cones as per the number of players
• White sheets

How To Play

• Give one mehandi cone and white sheet to each player.
• Ask them to write “Happy Karva Chauth” using mehandi cone on the given white paper.

Winner

Host can decide the winner based on the time taken and how neat it is written.

Things Required

• A list as below to score the points
  1. 5 marks if the hair is tied and 3 marks if not tied.
  2. 5 marks for small earrings and 3 marks for long earrings,
  3. 5 marks if the color of the dress is red, green and pink and 3 marks for any other color,
  4. 5 marks for wearing a nose pin and 3 marks for not wearing a nose pin,
  5. 5 marks for the nail paint that matches the dress and 3 if it does not.
  6. 5 marks for wearing toe rings and 3 mark for not wearing
  7. 5 marks for wearing matching glass bangles and 3 marks for other bangles
  8. 5 marks to everyone who is carrying the same lipstick which they have used in their purse.
  9. 5 marks to those who are wearing pearls either earrings, rings or bangles
  10. 5 marks for wearing a golden watch 3 marks for not wearing the watch.
  11. 5 marks who are wearing sari and 3 for those who are wearing any other dress
  12. 5 marks for  who can stand up and boldly say  “I am so beautiful that my husband kissed me in the morning’

How To Play

• Give pen and paper to everybody.
• Tell all the participants to be honest and score themselves as the host speak each of the point above.

The participant with highest score wins !!

Things Required

• Cardboard Sheets
• One sieve filled with rice
• An empty bowl

How To Play

• Make small cut outs of stars and moon using cardboard sheets.
• Put these cut outs in the rice filled sieve and mix them with rice.
• Each player has to pick maximum moons from the sieve and put them in empty bowl.
• Player will be considered out if he/she put any star in the bowl by mistake.
• Time limit is one minute.

Winner

Whoever collects maximum moons will be the winner.

Things Required

• Nail polish remover
• Nail polish of different colors
• Cotton
• Nail art stickers

How To Play

• Divide all players in a team of two.
• Now both the players of each team have to put the nail paint on other player’s nails and use nail art stickers creatively.
• Time limit is 5 minutes.

Winner

Host will decide the winning team based on the best & most creative nail art.

How To Play

• The  host will ask some ice breaking question for example
  1. The lady with green purse
  2. The one who is wearing 3 stones in one ring
  3. The one who is wearing red sandal
  4. The one who is wearing two earrings

  6. The one who is having 3 ten rupee coins etc.
• For every correct answer the lady will be given a red rose.
• Even if the winners are more than one, give one rose for every correct answer.

• Write some words from songs on the chits instead of numbers.
• Players have to listen to the songs very carefully.
• As the songs are played, the players need to strike out the words which are there in their chit.
• The prizes can be just like tambola early five, corners, lines and full house.

Things Required

• 10 bangles each of Green, Red, Yellow and Blue color
• 4 bangles of purple color
• One bowl for mixing the bangles

How To Play

• Allocate marks to each color for example Green-20, red-15, yellow-10 and Blue-5
• Add 4 bangles of any purple color.
• Mix all bangles in a bowl.
• Blindfold  the player and ask her to pick any 10 bangles except purple.
• Add the marks allocated to bangles which the player has picked up.
• The twist of the game is, in case the player has picked up purple bangle, she is out of the game.

Winner

The player with maximum marks wins !!

The game can be played without giving marks as well.  In that case who picks up the maximum green color bangles is the winner.

• Different color bangles (Minimum 15 bangles of 5 colors each)
• One Dice
• Bowl

How To Play

• Keep all the bangles in a bowl.
• Now one of the player will roll the dice and if dice shows 1, player has two wear one color bangle in thumb and if it shows 2 then player has to wear two bangles of same color (different from 1) in next finger and so on.
• If dice shows 6, player has to drop all the bangles in the bowl and try again.
• Time limit is one minute

Winner

Whoever puts different color bangles in all the fingers but same color bangles in same finger in one minute will be the winner.

Things Required

• 50 bangles in a bowl
• A dice
• Gifts according to number of winners

How To Play

• Put bangles in a bowl and give it to the player alongwith the dice.
• They have to throw the dice and put one bangle in the finger as per the no. for eg.
• For  no. 1  the player has to put one bangle in the baby finger
• For no. 2 the player has to put two bangles in ring finger
• For no. 3 the player has to put three bangles in middle finger,
• For no. 4 the player has to put four bangles in index finger and
• For no. 5 the player has to put five bangles in thumb.
• In between if  no. 6 comes nothing is to be done, they have to throw the dice again.
• After putting  the bangles in all the fingers the player has to play the dice for  no. 6.
• As soon as the no. 6 comes the player has to take out all the bangles from the fingers and add one bangle to it then wear it in her hand.
• Then player will again roll the dice three times.
• Now the player will remove as many bangles from her hand as per the number rolled the dice.
• In the last count the remaining bangles.

• Paper and pencil for each player
• One Sheet and chits containing  all the names given by the players.
• One empty bowl

How To Play

• Give paper and pencil to everyone with 30 small empty squares in them just like bingo ticket.
• Now ask them to write 15 names (5 in each line) with whom either they call their husband or they have heard their friends calling their husband for eg.Sweetheart, Prince Charming, Rockstar, Romeo, Tiger, Angel, Baby, Bad boy, Big guy, Cutie pie, Darling,  Dear heart, Handsome, Heart throb, Hero, Honey, Honey buns, Ice man, Iron man, Lover, Lovey, Mr. Perfect, Mr. Right, Mr. Cool, My Dear Boy, My Love, Sweety Boy etc.
• Then ask the participants to write the names which they have written on their tambola ticket on small chits and hand it over to caller.
• After getting all the chits from all the participants put them in the bowl and mix it.
• Start drawing the chits from the bowl and call out the name.
• Caller is supposed to write on a piece of paper all the names which is calling out for verification.
• Those who are having that particular name can strike it on their tambola ticket.
• Game ends when all the prizes are successfully claimed.

There is  a probability that lot of duplicate names chits in the bowl so in that case if that name has already been cut, ignore that chit  and draw the next chit.

Things Required

• Paper and pen for all players
• A list of questions as mentioned below
• A tray for keeping all the karva chauth related things

How To Play

• Keep all the Karva Chauth related things in a tray  for eg. mehandi, , ribbon, sindoor, churi, pheni, matti, moon,  bindi, lipstick, kajal, eye-liner, mangalsutra, manngtika, rings, necklace, bangles, earrings, payal, toe-rings, nose ring, karwa,thali, coconut, sieve, sweets, fruits etc.
• Tell everyone to pay attention to the host but do not tell the real purpose.
• The party host will carry this tray around each lady in the party room.
• After two minutes the host will carry the tray to another room and will not come out till the game ends.
• Give a sheet of paper to all the ladies to answer some questions.
• The twist of the game is that questions are not related to the things kept in the tray but they are related to the Host.
• The questions can be :
• What is color of her outfit?
• Is she wearing bangles?
• Is she wearing a watch?
• Is she wearing flat sandels or heels?
• Is she wearing a Mangalsutra?
• Has she made a hairdo or wearing a clip?
• Has she applied mehandi on her hands? etc.

Winner

The player with most correct answers wins.

This game can be played in any party. Keep the things in the tray as per the theme of the party.

1.Jumbled Hubby Names

Write 15  hubby pet names in jumbled way on a paper for ex. Honey-yneho, Jannu-uanjn, Darling-ngilrda, Pritam-tmairp etc.  The one writes the maximum correct names in one minute wins.

2. Dice And Nail Polish

All the players should sit in a circle and any one can start the game. Give one dice and nail polish to the player. The game is that they have to roll the dice and as per the rolled no. they have to play. If the player gets any no from 1-4 for eg. 3 than the player sitting third from the  left has to apply nail polish on one of the fingers for 5 and 6 the player who has rolled the dice  has to apply nail polish on their own finger. The player who is able to apply nail polish on all the five fingers at the earliest wins.

3.Guess your ring

Collect either the wedding rings or any ring worn all the ladies. Mix them and place them in a tray. Blindfold the player and ask here to recognize her ring by touching.  Time limit 30 seconds.  If the spouses are there in the party then this game can be played the other way all the women will find their husband’s ring and husband’s will find their wife’s ring blind folded.

4.Bottle And Bangles

Take a small bottle or any round thing. The players have to roll the dice six times.  In the first four times the player has to put the bangles around the bottle according to the no. she has rolled and in the last two chances she has to take out the bangles according to the no.  The player who is left with maximum no. of bangles around the bottle is the winner.

5.Husband Name On Hand

Give one white sheet and one pen to all the ladies. They have to make a sketch of their hand on it. They have to write the name of their husband as many times as they can in one minute.

7.Grab Your Shringar Items

Keep 10-15 shringar(make up) items in a bowl for eg. kajal, lipstick, eye liner, sindoor stick, bindi etc.  Assign some nos. to them which is not to be told to players.  The game is that everybody will be given a change to grab the items with one hand. Note that items on a paper against their names. In the end, you do not have to count the no. of things grabbed, but total the nos. allotted to that particular item and the player with highest no. wins.

8.Miss Call

All the ladies will give a miss call to their husband. The first three ladies who receives a call back from their husband within 3 minutes wins.
